I need a theme

This blog is all over the place with what I post, and I was thinking that it would be good to have a set theme for it. At least something I can fall back on and write about when I have nothing else to write about.

MamaBear has suggested a few ideas to me, but no offense to her, none have really spoken to me. It is pretty obvious I am not much into the recipe and cooking angle. Perhaps I should try baking? I like to bake. And I don't like to share about finances that much, since my hubby and I keep that to ourselves, with regards to how much he makes and our debt to income ratio etc.

If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know, because I am open for any! If you can't tell, this blog has really frustrated me because even though I have tried to increase my traffic, I have not been able to do so sucessfully, even though I have followed a lot of the steps necessary.

Please, do leave comments because I love input.

:( I'm sorry that my post didn't help you much!

As far as a theme, really think about something that you enjoy or are interested in, and go with that! Baking is good, there are lots of blogs about baking and they get lots of traffic!

What sort of hobbies or interests do you pursue?

You could blog about your weight loss goal: food diary, calories consumed, exercise completed, etc.

That opens up a huge avenue of other articles, too - comparison of commercial groups (Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, etc), different diets (Atkins, South Beach, etc), proper way to perform exercises (situps, pushups, leg lunges)...and more!

Do a series of some kind, Pt 1, Pt2, etc etc.

I hope that you can find your theme - I enjoy reading your blog and hearing about your day to day activities.

It wasn't your post, it was the ideas you gave me on facebook I think, like blogging about recipes etc. lol Your post was great, but you've told me all that before. LOL maybe I just don't have the heart to put as much into it as you do? I dunno. I've actually tried to find a site like tastespotting, but for photos and haven't been too successful yet. That is one thing that really does interest me, but I wanted to make sure I could watermark my photos just so someone doesn't right click and save them etc. Oh, and I do that commment thing like crazy!!! I honestly havent seen too much of a return from it, but i guess it is hit or miss, right?

I forgot to say, as for hobbies...reading. I do scrapbook, but I dont want to post pics of the kids online, so that's out. Ummm...I'm a pretty private person, I don't want to share too much, so though I may share my weight loss goals, there is no way I would share how much I ate etc. lol. I really don't have a lot of time to pursue outside avenues due to being so busy with 4 kids.
