Mama Bear, over at I've Gotta Little Space To Fill has tagged me for a meme.

The rules are simple:

1. Take a photo of your desk or work space.

Seriously, it is that bad. I've been very very messy lately.

There are so many things on there!

On the top you can see some Pepsi bottle caps with points, Gymboree Receipts with Gymbucks, a lighter from the last time I bar-b-qued, extra gum, a toothbrush and a few other odds and ends. Also showing is my nice, fantastic monitor and to the left of it, my 3 in 1 printer/scanner/copier (with Internet coupons on it).

On the bottom, starting from the right we see. A glass of water, sticky notes, a comb, pink recipe box with paper in it, a can of compressed air, electrical tape that I will be using tomorrow. Then we have some packing tape, two different pairs of Gymboree hair curlies, Avon hand lotion, my cell phone, my Avon notebook, my digital camera, my camera bag. Then comes my detangling comb (keep it there because otherwise we'll lose it), Duracell batteries, a bag of skittles, Bath and Body Works foot cream, a Stanley measuring tape, desitin diaper cream, some Avon books, a pencil sharpener, empty disks. Behind all that mess is a "to file" messy bin, and to the right of that is my bills, which are organized, and currently, all paid. Obviously there are a few odds and ends that I can't see, or else I can't be bothered to post every single piece of paper.

In the keyboard area, I have the obvious mouse and keyboard. Beside is another Avon book and some receipts I need to file. The tower is to the left of the desk.

So now that you have seen my disgusting mess, don't be ashamed of me. LOL

I have to take 3 other bloggers, but I don't have time to do that right now, so...I shall opt out this time. Sorry Mama Bear! The blogs I read though, a lot of them aren't into this sort of thing.

When was the most recent time you were burned?

Oh gosh, this was bad!!! I think it was last fall, I know it was before I had my Green Card interview. August I think. My Hubby was making his famous spaghetti, and had decided to do the sauce in the crockpot that day. Well, I was stirring it and somehow my left forearm touched the crock and gave me a nasty 4" long burn on my arm. It was really bad, so I won't go into the details, but I wore gauze and antibiotic cream etc for quite awhile. I am now left with a nice 2.5" long scar on my arm. One of the most painful things ever. But at least it is faded and not too noticeable.

Can you cook?

Yes. If I want to put the time and effort into it, I am a spectacular chef. I can make many wonderful dishes, but just don't bother. lol

We are simple folk, and I don't do much fancy stuff in this house.

1. Roast Chicken, which turns into homemade chicken noodle soup
2. Beef Roast, which turns into a hearty beef stew
3. Tator tot casserole

If yes, do you like to cook?

No.

If no, do you want to be able to cook?

Sometimes yes, but I think what I want more is the DESIRE to cook, and to get enjoyment out of cooking

What color is your kitchen?

Since I rent, a boring old white. Cabinets are oak and the floor is crappy, cheap linoleum. In the house we just sold, it was a nice beige and sage green.

In my dream kitchen, I'll be having black and white checker tile flooring, custom oak cabinets with pull out pantry drawers like in the kitchen in my old house, lazy susans etc. I'd like blue to be the main color, but not sure how that would work out with b/w tiles, so we'll have to see.

Do you bake?

Yeah!

Yes, I do really enjoy baking, especially at Christmas time.

So here goes:

1. I tell my highschool classmates I can't come to our reunion because of passport issues, but really, I don't feel like going to see anyone except a few people. I probably could get my passport renenwed if I was willing to spend all the money and time for it. But I don't want to put the time and effort into it, to be completely honest.

2. I hate to clip coupons, but still try to be as frugal as possible

3. Even though I sell, and love Avon products (really, I do), I still love and use some Clinique items.
