Well rent is due next week as are a couple other bills, and I have a big gift to buy this week, so I am going to have to cut down on our grocery bill. I'm trying to think of some cheap meals I can feed the kids and I, any ideas?
Last night I made a HUGE pork roast, that will feed us tonight and then Tuesday night too. I'm not quite sure what to do with it on Tuesday though; I could make BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, but I don't really want to eat that. I thought about doing a Pork Pot Pie, but the thought of that grosses me out. What else can you do with pork roast? So I have Monday and Tuesday taken care of. I might even get Wednesday night taken care of too...I'll have to see how much the boy eats.
Thursday for us is obviously Thanksgiving, so we will have two meals out of that, and I can save left over bird for soup etc. That takes care of Thursday and Friday. But what do I do for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday? I should probably buy groceries for two weeks, but I'm feeling a bit lazy with my menu planning this week...ooops!
I was thinking of making meat loaf one night, and we always do something easy or out of the crock pot on days we have Karate (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Anyhow, I am feeling very un-creative, can anyone give me some good ideas? I'm open to anything tasty and cheap for the menu for the next couple weeks.

Pork tacos!!
Shred some of the leftovers and put in the crock pot with a little broth or water....season for tacos...green chilis are good. Serve in flour tortillas with cheese & sour cream & whatever else strikes you. :)
If it were me, (and undoubtedly it *will* be me LOL) I'd do a creamed turkey on potatoes or noodles, and a pot pie or some sort of turkey casserole for those other two nites.
Also, if you use turkey like chicken salad....way good. Turkey, some boiled eggs maybe, mayo or MW, salt & pepper...maybe some shredded cheese. :) Serve with some soup or hm mac & cheese. :)
I'm getting excited for turkey!!
